Dr. Omar Kahouli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics Engineering, Applied College, University of Ha’il, Saudi Arabia. He is also a member of the “Control and Energy Management Laboratory,” National Engineering School of Sfax, University of Sfax, Tunisia. His main research interests include renewable energy (wind turbine generation, solar energy), power system control and stability, the application of non-conventional techniques for power system stabilizers, and the reconfiguration and planning of the distribution power networks.
Prof. Hamdi Gassara is an Associate Professor at the Electrical Department, National Engineering School of Sfax, Tunisia. His teaching experience started when he was a PhD student at UPJV from 2008 to 2011. He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. degree in automatic control from the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), France, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. His research interests include analysis and control for fuzzy models with time delay, fault-tolerant control, diagnostics, saturations, and polynomial fuzzy models.
Prof. Lilia El Amraoui is a professor of electrical engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Saudi Arabia. She received an engineering degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in systems analysis and numerical processing from the National Engineering School of Tunis, Tunisia, in 1997 and 1998, respectively, and a PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Lille, France, in 2002. Her research interests include the optimal design and multiphysics modeling of signals and mechatronic system structures, with a strong emphasis on applications in renewable energy, advancing technologies, and sustainable solutions for the future.
