Prof. Dr. Stephanie-May Ruchat currently works as a Full Professor at UQTR -Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She is also the President of the Quebec Association of Physical Activity Sciences (AQSAP). She received her Master's degree and her PhD in Genetic Epidemiology at Université Laval in 2006. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Western University (2010-2012) and at the University of Sherbrooke (2012-2014). Her research interests mainly include Pregnancy, postpartum, physical activity, sedentary behaviour, maternal cardiometabolic health, maternal musculoskeletal health, and fetal/neonatal health.

Prof. Dr. Linda Booij works as a Full Professor at McGill University and a Researcher at Douglas Research Centre. She is also a Psychologist of Eating Disorders Continuum at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. She received her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology at Leiden University in the Netherlands, then did her postdoctoral training in the Department of Psychiatry of McGill University, where she was trained in PET imaging and human genetics. Her research interests mainly include the biopsychosocial pathways of eating disorders.

Prof. Anne-Sophie Morisset currently works as a professor at the School of Nutrition at Laval University since 2015. In addition to being a researcher at the CHU de Québec–UL Research Center, she is also a researcher at the Nutrition, Health and Society Center (NUTRISS) and the Observatory on the Quality of Food Supply, both entities of the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF). After completing her doctoral studies in maternal health, metabolism, and nutrition under the supervision of Dr. André Tchernof, she completed a postdoctoral internship in the laboratory of Dr. William D. Fraser, where she worked with very large national and provincial birth cohorts (MIREC study and 3D study). She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration – Business Management (M.B.A.), which gives her expertise in management. Her research interests mainly include Perinatal nutrition, maternal health, gestational diabetes, gestational weight gain, the endocrinology of obesity, vitamin D, and insulin resistance.

Prof. Dr. Sarah Lippe currently works as a FRQ-S Scientist and co-Head Deputy of the Brain and Child Development axis at the CHU Sainte-Justine Hospital and Full Professor at the Psychology Department of the University of Montreal, and member of several research groups and networks (BRAMS, CerebrUM, GRIP, TACC, KBHN). She completed a Master’s degree in neuropsychology and a Ph.D. in clinical and research neuropsychology at the University of Montreal. She was trained as a postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience at the Atomic Energy Commission (France) and at the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care (Toronto). Her research focuses on brain development, sensory processing and sensitivity and learning in healthy infants and children. Further, she investigates neurodevelopmental disorders risk factors. She particularly wants to understand the prenatal and genetic risk factors leading to neurodevelopmental disorders, and their consequences on brain development, sensory processing and sensitivity and learning capacities. Her investigation methods are non-invasive and enables her to develop early screening methods and treatment efficacy assessments.
