Summary

“Advanced Electric Power System 2023” is a Special Issue of Energies that seeks to publish original papers on the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy. It aims to present significant results in electric power systems, based on applied research, the development of new algorithms or components, the original application of existing knowledge, or new facilities applied to power systems. In this Special Issue, 11 research articles and 1 review article have been published. The research articles address various power system problems, including operation, diagnosis, power quality, control, cyber security, and computing algorithms. The review article focuses on modeling and indices related to power system instability problems, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state and challenges in this field. These publications showcase important studies and provide novel insights for modern power grid research.
