Summary

The field of medical and surgical retina has grown exponentially over the recent few decades. Several novel and promising treatments, technological developments, and advanced surgical techniques have become available for eye conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, diabetic retinopathy and macular oedema, retinal detachment, macular holes and membranes, genetic disorders, uveitis, and inflammations.

This Special Issue summarizes modern therapeutic and surgical approaches to retinal and vitreoretinal diseases, making a valuable contribution to our existing knowledge, describing the current state of the art, and providing directions for future research.
