We welcome scholars to participate in the 5th International Congress "Food Quality, Technology and Safety—FoodTech 2024" to be held from 16–18, October 2024, in Novi Sad, Serbia. This congress serves as a global platform for food scientists, industry professionals, and enthusiasts from across the world to convene and discuss the future of food. Our goal is clear: to advance the transformation of our food systems into sustainable, safe, and secure networks for the future.

FoodTech 2024 offers an exceptional blend of scientific content, stimulating lectures, networking opportunities, and a rich social program, all enhanced by the flavors and aromas of local cuisine. This year, we are emphasizing the important intersection between science and technology, illustrating how current research and innovations in food science are vital precursors to the technological breakthroughs meant to redefine our food industry. During the 3-day event, participants will have the opportunity to present short talks on their work and engage in stimulating discussions. Please submit your abstract before 1 September 2024 in the section “Submit Abstract”.

FoodTech 2024 is open to everybody who wants to present recent and original results on any of the following topics:

All conference participants will have the opportunity to win awards including the Best Oral Presentation Award and the Best Poster Presentation Award provided by Foods (IF 4.7, CiteScore 7.4, Q1 Journal).
