Animals Endorsing the ARRIVE Guidelines

Animals (ISSN 2076-2615) now endorses the ARRIVE guidelines by the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) and has been added to their list of endorsing journals. According to the NC3Rs, “the ARRIVE (Animal Research: Reporting In Vivo Experiments) guidelines are intended to improve the reporting of animal experiments. The guidelines have been developed by the NC3Rs to improve standards of reporting and ensure that the data from animal experiments can be fully evaluated and utilised.” The NC3Rs is an independent organization aiming at reducing and replacing the needs for animals in scientific research.
