Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript describes the removal of some dyes from single and binary system by zeolites (clinoptilolite)  underlying the mechanism of sorption.

The manuscript can be accepted in present form.

Thank you very much for your positive comments and recommendation.

Reviewer 2 Report

The work is interesting and it provides a useful approach. I suggest minor revision before publication.
- Table 1. Errors in fitting parameters should be included.
- The vant’hoff approach should be used with care here as the stoichiometric ratio (maximum adsorbed amount) changes with temperature. Moreover the DeltaG° changes with temperature are small (how do they compare with the statistical errors?) and therefore enthalpy might be effected by a large error.
- Introduction might be revised considering recent reports in the field (RSC Adv., 2019, 9, 40553-40564 DOI: 10.1039/C9RA08230A; Crystals 2021, 11(8), 960; https://doi.org/10.3390/cryst11080960)
