High-Throughput Screening to Identify Inhibitors of Plasmodium falciparum Importin α
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The manuscript is well written and I think its very important data for malaria research, but there are some small points before acceptance for publication.
Title: Plasmodium Falciparum should be Plasmodium falciparum. (italic)
Line 111: Mus musculus should be Mus musculus.(italic)
Line 143 and 144: 2 gm/L should be 2 mg/L.
Author Response
We thank the Reviewer for the very positive comments, and for careful perusal of the manuscript. We have made all of the required corrections.
We thank the Reviewer again.
Reviewer 2 Report
In this manuscript the authors report their results obtained by High-Throughput Screening to Identify Inhibitors of Plasmodium falciparum Importin α with inhibiting growth effects on both (Plasmodium falciparum and Toxoplasma gondeii). The study is properly designed and they use adequate material and performant technics to answer the question asked.
The results obtained are original and interesting both for the field of drug research for malaria and toxoplasmosis and for understanding the biological mechanisms of importin α interaction with NLS.
However, it is appreciable for the reader if the authors describe thoughly in two paragraph high through put screening.

Author Response
We would like to thank the Reviewer for the very positive comments and constructive suggestions, all of which we have followed.
As requested, we have expanded the experimental details for the HTS (Section 2.3), and added full details of the formula and company used for the curve-fitting.
We thank the Reviewer again for his/her contribution.
