This paper adds to our knowledge about the presentation of this subtype of EDS. This paper calls upon other clinicians to add to this well written summary of characteristics for this group of patients. This paper inspires other groups to collect shoulder joint radiographs for patients with musculocontractural EDS. Well done.

The manuscript of  Isobe et al. is invesitageting an important clinically topic that has not been sufficiently decribed. The study is well and in detail described and the quality of presentation is high. The study can be published in a current form.
