Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors approached an interesting and unexplored area of research. Even though the number of patients is low and the study has limitations, the authors acknowledge them. The study is well written and the design carefully conducted so It offers a good starting point for further researches.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article is interesting and should be accepted, although no correlation was found with the antibiotics monitored in exhaled breath and blood, the results should be published.

The methods, limitations, results and conclusion are well explained, i recommend the article acceptance.

Best regards,
