Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors should develop the abstract by adding some sentences regarding why digital skills are important in digital societies and enumerating the suggestions for upgrading the experience of the state and banking institutions.

The introduction can be broadened by inserting when the digital society evolved and its future direction. It is more than advisable that the authors should make references to more books and scientific papers in order to increase the quality of the paper bearing in mind that is a holistic approach.

Regarding the research methodology, it is not explained why the authors have chosen to take into consideration only the factors related to cryptocurrencies and digital currencies. Other factors are not important?

The conclusion part can be extended by inserting new and proposing how new digital skills can be taught by the digital society.  The authors should introduce a paragraph about future studies as an example of conducting qualitative research.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article is of interest to the target journal of "Societies" and can provide a valid contribution in terms of scientific and practical implications.

The following indications are provided to enhance the value of study proposed:

Abstract -  should outline the originality and valuable contribution of the study

Introduction - in line 24, it could be useful to provide some examples of digital currencies.

Literature review - also specify where the keywords were searched. In the abstract of each article?

3. DigComp and Digital Skills in the use of Cryptocurrencies - it could be more effective here to provide a summarizing table connecting each competence with the use of cryptocurrencies.

4. Research Questions The RQs proposed seem more hypotheses to verify than research questions. Correct if appropriate.

6.2. Technical analysis and SEM results - it is not clear the relevance of the SEM results. A more clear explanation could help understand why this methodology is used and the value of the results found.
