Influence of Copper Addition in AlSi7MgCu Alloy on Microstructure Development and Tensile Strength Improvement
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
In this paper influence of copper addition in AlSi7MgCu alloy is analysed. A correct study of the microstructural development is presented: solidification modelling and analysis, EDS mapping analysis, microstructure analysis of phases of alloy…
However, the study of the mechanical properties can be improved. As to the tensile test, it is necessary to include the dimensions of the specimens tested, the number of specimens tested, dispersion of the results and the most representative curves.
On the other hand, tribological properties, hardness, fracture behaviour and fatigue behaviour have not been studied. If it is possible, it would be desirable to include some of these aspects. If this is not possible, in the reviewer's opinion the title should be changed to "tensile test properties" instead of "mechanical properties".

Round 2
Reviewer 2 Report
Dear authors, congratulations once again on the good work. I have carefully checked the manuscript and the required corrections that have been made. The addition of data and figures on the tensile tests improves the quality of the presentation.
I only kindly ask you to go carefully to check the English language again and correct as necessary.
Otherwise, well done!
Sincerely,
Reviewer
Author Response
Dear Reviewer,
one more time thank you for your kind words and suggestion. I asked one of the English lectors to recheck the article. Based of her advices we improved English language. It seems to me that the text is more fluent now.
