Role of Mitophagy in Regulating Intestinal Oxidative Damage
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The present paper is a comprehensive review focused on the role of mitophagy in the regulation of oxidative stress-induced intestinal damage.
The paper is well-written, intelligible and presents new insights on the molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of mitophagy and oxidative stress and their relationship in intestinal diseases.
My recommendation is: accept.
Author Response
Thank you so much for supporting and affirming this manuscript. According to AE and other reviewers’ comments, we have made some modifications and supplements.
Reviewer 2 Report
Authors added table on the mitophagy mechanisms and role of candidated drugs in human diseases in this paper.
Author Response
Thank you for your valuable suggestion. We summarize the candidate drugs and nutrients in a table based on their effects on human diseases and their mitophagy mechanisms. Please see Table 1 in the revised manuscript (Line 357) , and you can also see Table 1 in the attachment. In addition, we have modified some details in the revised manuscript and added a possible mechanism diagram for the drug to regulate mitophagy (Figure 2, Line 372).
