This work represents the simulation results for for the green ship industry to assist ship owners in decision-making. They used the selection model based on rough set and approximate ideal solution ranking. It is interesting to me and there is nothing special to point out. The literature review was also well done based on the related works. I think this work can be helpful to researchers working in the related field.

- This paper should provide clearly sample information in the study. For example, who fill the questionnaire, the number of sample, how to select these samples. The questionnaire survey is suggested to be clearly described. Also, the number of samples and their background should be stated in Abstract.
- On page 6 (last paragraph), the authors explain why these four dimensions were selected. Why not others.
- On page 10, the authors provided two types of ships. It is suggested to provide the pictures of these two ships.
- The grammar question(s) should be checked again. For example, on page 14,
“Although LNG fuel technology performs better in various index attributes for green vessels and is the technology with more applications in green vessels at present, we can see from the performance of multiple indexes of LNG fuel technology that the technology is deficient in emission reduction effect compared with other clean energy technology”.

Point 1: This paper should provide clearly sample information in the study. For example, who fill the questionnaire, the number of sample, how to select these samples. Response 1: Thank you for your valuable comments. Following your suggestion, we have added sample information in the study, We have added relevant notes on how the sample information was obtained and an analysis of the applicability and rationality of these sample data in this paper (On page 7 (last paragraph) and On page 8 (first paragraph)). And it should be noted that our data are secondary data, mainly obtained from published reports and papers. At present, there are already some published reports and papers that provide a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the differences in the characteristics of various clean energy technologies, and the data in this paper are drawn from these literatures, such as the relevant reports published by DNVGL and qualitative analysis results of various clean energy technology attributes by Ampah JD and by ABS institutions, We have indicated our relevant data sources in the text (On page 8 (second paragraph) and On page 11 (first paragraph)).
At the same time, we realize that quoting someone else's data entirely would make this paper less persuasive, therefore, we point out in our conclusions and shortcomings that “the current data comes from secondary information. and subsequently, with the expansion of the application scenario of green ship clean energy technology and the enrichment of relevant indicator data, it is intended to extract the relevant indicators and data of clean energy technology of different ship types in different waters, and apply them to the model to make the decision-making results more accurate.”
The next step, we will expand the research to obtain first-hand data and information through questionnaire research, expert interviews and other channels, which will be used in the future research. Thank you again for your valuable suggestions!

Response 2: Thank you for the above suggestion. In order to further explain why we chose the four dimensions of economy, safety, technology and environment, We have added the analysis of influencing factors of clean energy technology selection, as well as the analysis of differences between clean energy technologies, and combined with the analysis results of other literature on each indicator (On page 6 and 7 (section 2.2)). Based on this, the four dimensions to be studied in this paper are drawn.
