Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The manuscript entitled Development of a Compartment Model to Study the Pharmacokinetics of Medical THC after Oral Administration brings a multi-compartmental model to describe the PK of THC and its metabolites in plasma and tissues. The model can be utilized as a tool to enhance our comprehension of the pharmacokinetics of THC. This includes aiding in the determination of dosage and administration duration for oral medical THC products. Overall, this is a very interesting work, and it is well-stated in this manuscript.

There are some typos and extra contractions throughout the manuscript. Also, the use of bodily compartments is not adequate. Please revise.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Colleagues,

In this article, the authors consider a compartmental model aimed at investigating the pharmacokinetics of medical THC after oral administration. One of the advantages of this article is it discusses the new nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) method to construct numerical solution schemes. All references given in the bibliography correspond to the subject area. I have some comments that the authors should correct:

1. The article does not contain a sufficient justification for the choice of a difference numerical integration scheme;

2. The system (1) is linear with constant coefficients. Therefore, it allows for numerical-analytical integration, for example, using a matrix exponential with any accuracy. The authors wrote nothing about this;

3. Based on the form of the system (2), the used difference scheme is implicit. However, it is not clear why in some equations of this system, instead of the concentration at step k + 1 (as written on page 5), the numbers of step for the concentrations are taken as k. The justifications are required;

4. On page 6, the formulas are given for calculating the values of the phi-function through the coefficients of the system (2). In the article, the authors did not provide a rationale for choosing exactly these values as the values of the lambda-multiplier in the formula on page 5.

I recommend that the authors seriously improve the article.

Best regards, Reviewer.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Authors,

Thank you for submitting the article, after review the article I have the following concerns.

1) Abstract is not clear it should needs to reflect the introduction, motivation, objective, methodology, results and conclusion.

2) A detailed literature review required with summary table.

3) Major contributions needs to be highlight after the literature.

4) Must use the full form at first apprearance.

5) can you present the comparison with state of the art methods?

6) Presnetation of the results is weak.

Paper needs major revision for improvements, presentation is weak.
