Thank you so much for the comments.
- We fixed the numbering for Sections 2, 3, and 4. It should be fine.
- We agree that asking about the teachers' behaviors regarding this construct (Wisdom) would be equally useful and relevant. This could be investigated in mixed-method research, incorporating semi-structured interviews.
- We have discussed why we did not include dynamic balance and synthesis translated into action in the manuscript. This cannot be evaluated with some questions as it is very situational. However, we could ask about it in a mixed-method study, incorporating interviews.
- We did fix Table 2.
- Thanks for realizing gender tendency in our sample. This tendency reflects the United States teachers' demographics 74.3% of all teachers are women, while 25.7% are men.
- We will add your suggestion to the limitation section.

Thank you for pointing out these important questions about the homogeneity of the sample and the inclusion of preservice teachers. Your comments have given us directions to strenghen our instrument in future iterations. We have added these major limitations in page 15 lines 422-434. We acknowledge the limitation of a primarily female and white sample and recommend conducting future studies with intentionally diverse populations of teachers. Regarding preservice teachers and their age, we rely on prior researchers and theorists (e.g., Sternberg 2005, Jeste and colleagues, Staudinger 2005, 2010) who have made an argument about wisdom being independent of age and rather be associated with cognitive and socio-emotional skills used to navigate life and to acquire experience. We pose a limitation on the possibility of distinct results for teachers and preservice teachers due to training or years of experience. Therefore, we propose future research to test the invariance of the instrument across demographics, and preservice vs in-service teachers.
