Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The topic proposed by the authors is of great interest in order to offer quality education in the motor field.

The introduction is in line with the contextualization of physical activity; however, there are citations that should be updated. A little more than 15% of the total references in the document belong to the last five years. Only 8 of the 51 references, with 15.68%, belong to the last 5 years. This aspect can be extended to the discussion of the paper.

The section on materials and methods should be divided into other subsections and the research procedure should be better broken down.

In reference to the sample, there is a large difference between men and women, which could lead to a bias in the research. In addition, no information is collected from other agents involved in the motor education of students at these ages, such as caregivers or professionals who can direct the leisure time of the sample towards motor tasks. This can also produce a bias in the research.

Although the use of a qualitative research methodology is accepted as a valid method for the production of scientific evidence, it seems insufficient in this research. It would have been desirable that the research had been complemented with the use of quantitative methods. The authors also do not indicate how the interview with open-ended questions was validated.
