Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Author,

The current manuscript emphasize that the use of echo-endoscopy can be hellpull in anatomical variations in children. However the size limitations in children are the main problem. For this reason there are limited studies about ERCP and EUS  in children. Current manuscript seems to be supportive work for the future studies in this ares.

Best regards

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Editor,

Dear Authors,

I read with great interest the manuscript entitled Echo-endoscopy combined with Virtual Reality: a whole perspective of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration 3 (LCBDE) in children.” by Destro F et al. This was a relatively small single-center retrospective case series of pediatric patients with hepatobiliary, pancreatic malformations, and congenital duplication cysts. The role of EUS, ERCP, minimally-invasive surgery and virtual-reality in the included cases is well presented and properly discussed. I consider the manuscript well written and relevant to the research context.

I have the following minor comment only:

1) ABSTRACT: “EUS (echo endoscopy)” à please modify as EUS (endoscopic ultrasound)
