- With screening programs, it will be seen that ankyloglossia is more common than the general literature shows.
- Frenotomy can be performed without delay in patients with ankyloglossia and breastfeeding problems.
- Frenotomy give successful results.
- If difficulties in breastfeeding are noticed in ankyloglossia patients even at the first control, the frenotomy procedure should be recommended in clinical conditions.
