A cavity-particle system are proposed, in which the SPP WGM resonance and LSPR are excited. The SPP WGM splits into symmetric mode and antisymmetric mode due to the LSPR. The strong coupling between symmetric mode resonance and LSPR generates positive and opposite modes. Subnanometer sensing is proposed in the manuscript. Compared with referenced works, the performance of the strong coupling has obvious advantages. It can be considered to be published after revision.

1.       Besides sensing the metal particles, can dielectric particles be sensed by the system?

2.       The intensity is enhanced about 5700 times, the comparison between yours and another studies should be made in manuscript.

3.       It seems that particle can also be sensed by the system when it deviates from the strong coupling. Is this right?

4.       In Figure 1(b), four dips appear. The dip 2 and 3 is produced by the WGM resonance, which can couple to LSPR. Can the dip 1 and 4 due to F-P resonance couple to the LSPR strongly?

Round 2

Dear authors,

Thank you for your answers, the improvements to the manuscript will help readers to understand your work.

Some typos still need to be attended, for instance:

i)                 Line 93, it should be FDTD no TDTD.

ii)                Lines 138 and 195, no capital letter should follow coma in equations.

iii)              Equation (7) must finish with dot.

As a personal comment, I recommend you reading papers from authors abroad: there are many citations to works from your same country. I’m sure that will help you to improve further research.
