Reviewer 2 Report

In this manuscript, the authors have identified the CCT genes in Raphanus sativus using computation tools including protein alignments, phylogenetic relationships, and through identification of conserved domains. Further, they did a downstream analysis where they checked the expression pattern of these genes in various tissues using RNASeq and qPCR. Additionally, they checked the expression profile of these genes in response to various abiotic stresses. The study is largely descriptive, though it could serve as a starting point for future studies to identify and confirm their functions through mutant studies.

  • Authors should address grammatical errors throughout the manuscript.
  • Authors should improve the resolution for all the figures and make fonts more readable.

Reviewer 3 Report

The aim of this study is to characterize CCT genes in radish, predict their potential role in stress response and flowering. Later, authors using analyse CCT genes in other Brassica species and try identifying evolutional relations.  Manuscript has low amount of experimental data; main data is generated using databases and bioinformatic tools. Technically manuscript is well prepared. However, I have some minor suggestions:

Objective of study should be clearly formulated at the end of introduction.

I would like to suggest shortening conclusions and making statements, and don’t repeating result section.
