Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Thank you for allowing me to review the manuscript titled "Multi-system inflammatory syndrome in an adult associated 2 with SARS-CoV-2 infection: a case report from the Maldives" by Miqdhaadh et al. This case report demonstrates that MIS-A can manifest as a complication from SARS CoV2 in adults. The main limitation of this study is its retrospective nature as it cannot rule out other causes of the MIS-A picture including myocarditis causing viruses. I don't have any other comments

Reviewer 2 Report

Interesting case report. The article is well structured and the case is particular and not common.

This case report describes a Multi-system inflammatory syndrome in an adult associated with SARS-Cov-2 infection. The choosen topic is relevant and interesting and the case described is original and uncommon.
The peculiarity of the case analyzed by the authors is mainly related to the age of the subject. In fact, the condition described is typically found in children and adolescents. The Manuscript is well written and the text is clear and easily understandable for all readers. The discussion of the case and the conclusions are consistent with the case described and with the data available. In conclusion, in my opinion, the article provides some advance in the field studied. I hope that these additional comments will contribute to a final decision on this article.
