The International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) is Now an Affiliated Society Member of Machines
In January 2019, The International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) chose Machines as its preferred journal and became an affiliated society member of the journal. As part of this collaboration, all members of IFToMM enjoy a discount on the article processing charges (APC) when submitting articles to Machines. The agreement/affiliation will officially start on 1st January 2019.
What's the Federation's mission?
IFToMM is a Federation whose mission is the promotion of mechanism and machine science through activities in research and development in the field of machines and mechanisms by theoretical and experimental methods, along with their practical application, and in contacts among persons and organizations of different countries engaged in scientific or engineering work in the field of machines and mechanisms, or related sciences. Main activities with related benefits for the communities from the member organizations can be indicated in meetings, sponsored conferences, collaboration plans in formation and research, editorial works and disseminations, and so on, with worldwide visibility and impact. IFToMM is a professional organization whose functions are highly relevant to the scope of Machines. We look forward to collaborating with IFToMM and publishing state-of-the-art research from its members in this field.
