Plants Reaches 1000 Articles Milestone

With the publication of Guillaume Fried’s "Which Traits Make Weeds More Successful in Maize Crops? Insights from a Three-Decade Monitoring in France" MDPI’s Plants (ISSN 2223-7747), an open access journal that covers the key areas of plant science, is pleased to announce that it has published its 1000th paper since its inception in 2012. In addition, we also would like to congratulate Dr. Guillaume Fried for winning the 1000th Paper Award. In celebration, we will publish his paper free of charge.

Plants is now covered in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) in Web of Science and has received an Impact Factor of 2.632 for 2018. Plants’ current CiteScore in Scopus is 4.06, which equals rank 29/404 (Q1) in the category 'Plant Science'
