Systems (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/systems) is an international open access journal led by the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Dr. Ockie Bosch from Keio University, Japan, and the University of Adelaide, Australia. In an effort to expand our offerings to the systems sciences community, we are recruiting scientists to join the Topic Board.

Systems dedicated to the quick global dissemination of the results of cutting-edge research on systems theory in practice, including fields such as systems engineering management, systems based project planning in urban settings, health systems, environmental management and complex social systems. The International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS) is affiliated with Systems. The journal is presently covered by the following indexes: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), DBLP Computer Science Bibliography and Web of Science.

We encourage applications from researchers with a background in a range of subject areas. Should you decide to serve on the Topic Board, and depending on your availability, you would be responsible for some of the following tasks:

• Setting up at least one Special Issue (SI) over two years in the journal and proposing a detailed strategy plan for the SI (including soliciting papers and promoting the SI);
• Promoting the journal during conferences (adding 1–2 slides to your presentation, distributing flyers, recommending the journal to your colleagues, etc.);
• Providing support for the Special Issues on topics related to your expertise or when the guest editor(s) is not available, including SI promotion via social media, pre-checking new submissions, making decisions, and giving advice on scientific cases.

Benefits: Topic Editors are encouraged to apply for travel grants for their research group or themselves after one year of their tenure has been served. Moreover, they may be recommended for the role of Editorial Board Member after the Editorial Office's evaluation.
