Recruiting Editors for Informatics

It is our pleasure to inform you that five topical sections have been set up in Informatics in order to reflect the scope of research published in the journal. The Sections are as follows:

  1. Digital Humanities
  2. Health Informatics
  3. Machine Learning
  4. Big Data Mining and Analytics
  5. Human-Computer Interaction

We are looking to expand the Editorial Boards for the five sections to add to the expertise in these areas. The ideal candidates are active, international, and experienced scholars in research areas related to those listed above. In addition, candidates should have a passion for journal editing, scientific communication, and digital publishing. We encourage anyone who is interested in applying for this position or who would like to recommend a potential candidate for this position to contact us by 31 December 2020.

Informatics (ISSN 2227-9709) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published online by MDPI, Basel, Switzerland. Informatics is indexed by the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), DBLP Computer Science Bibliography and Scopus. Members of the Editorial Board have the following duties:

  • Reviewing a couple of manuscripts per year;
  • Editing a Special Issue on a topic related to your research, and making final decisions for submitted papers regarding acceptance for publication;
  • Recommending timely topics and suggesting potential Guest Editors;
  • Publishing one paper per year, free of charge, in open access;
  • Identifying appropriate conferences for editors to attend;
  • Promoting the journal.
