Prof. Dr. Wojciech Pisula Appointed Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Materials

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Wojciech Pisula has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Materials (ISSN 2673-3978).

Prof. Dr. Wojciech Pisula gained his PhD in Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in 2005 and took over the position as project leader afterwards. In 2015, he received his habilitation in Material Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2015, he became Associate Professor and in 2020 Full Professor in the Department of Molecular Physics at the Lodz University of Technology. Since 2016, he has been the Editor of Synthetic Metals. Parallel to his academic career, he joined Evonik Industries in 2006 and is currently Director at the Applied Technology Silicone. He has published over 225 publications in peer-reviewed journals resulting in an H-Index of 64. His research is focused on organic electronics with the physical chemical aspects of π-conjugated self-organizing systems and their functionality.
