We are pleased to announce that Professor Leonid Kustov has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Section "Hybrid and Composite Crystalline Materials" of Crystals (ISSN 2073-4352). His term started in May 2020.
Leonid M. Kustov has a Hirsch index of 40 and is Head of Laboratories at the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, and the Department of Chemistry, M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (see his ResearchGate profile). Leonid Kustov graduated in 1978 from the Chemistry Department of Moscow State University. He received his Ph.D. in 1982 and achieved Dr. Sci. (Chem.) in 1992 from the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry. He first became a professor in 1999, at which point he specialized in catalysis, nanomaterials, green chemistry, environment protection, and renewable energy. He has been awarded the Exxon Science and Engineering Award, 1995, the Award of the President of Russian Academy of Sciences, 2000–2002, the N.D. Zelinsky Award, 2015, the Scopus-Elsevier Russia 2015 Award, a Diplomo di Merito from the European Chamber of Commerce, 2015, and is a member of the International Zeolite Association.The editorial team warmly welcomes Professor Leonid Kustov as the Editor-in-Chief of Hybrid and Composite Crystalline Materials and looks forward to his contribution to the continued success of Crystals.
