Recruiting Editors for New Journal Thermo

Thermo
, a new journal published in MDPI, is recruiting Editorial Board (EB) members whose research interests are related, but not limited to, the following aspects:

  • Heat and temperature
  • Calorimeters and calorimetry
  • Thermodynamics
  • Thermal properties of matter
  • Heat transfer methods: radiation, conduction and convection
  • Isolated thermal systems
  • Quantum ideal gas
  • Energy and free energy
  • Phases and phase transitions
  • Bose–Einstein condensation
  • Quantum fluid
  • Canonical probability distribution
  • Ideal/real heat engines and refrigerators
  • Thermal management

Thermo is a new, open access journal published quarterly online by MDPI, which covers all aspects of heat and temperature, and is a joint study of thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and kinetic theory. The journal aims to publish high-quality scientific papers which present ground-breaking and innovative results, as well as major achievements in the field of thermal physics. It publishes original research articles, reviews, and letters. Our aim is to provide a forum for researchers to exchange their ideas and creativity, and make the research boundary of this field advance further. You can find more information via our homepage: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/thermo.

We have already recruited ten Editorial Board members for our board, and are still looking to add some more excellent scholars. If you are interested in the latest research advances in this field, please do not hesitate to contact the Thermo editorial office at [email protected].

Editorial Board members have the following responsibilities:

    Making decisions on whether a manuscript can be accepted or not, based on the reports we collect;

    Reviewing a few papers per year;

    Acting as a Guest Editor of a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;

    Promoting Thermo and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences.

Let us make something interesting happen. We are looking forward to your participation.
