He completed his Doctoral Thesis with Eugenio Coronado at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Valencia (Extraordinary Prize of PhD in 1991). Between 1993 and 1995, he completed two post-doctoral stays, at the University de Rennes (France) and at the Paul Pascal Center de Recherche in Bordeaux (France), with an HCM grant from the European Union. He has been Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry since 1998, and in 2006, he obtained the National Authorization as Professor of College. Since 2007, he has been Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Valencia. He has been a member of the group of Professor Eugenio Coronado since its inception in 1988 and has belonged to the Institute of Molecular Science of the University Of Valencia since its creation in 2000. He is the author of more than 20 chapters of national and international books and of a total of 316 publications in international magazines (which have received more than 9650 citations, with an h-index of 47 and m of 2).
