Recruiting Section Editoial Board Members for the Microorganisms

Microorganisms journal is recurring Editorial Board Members for the following sections:

Biofilm

Public Health Microbiology

https://www.mdpi.com/journal/microorganisms/sectioneditors/public_health_microbiota

The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are:

  1. Recommend some topics for Special Issues or help to edit a Special Issue on a topic related to your research;
  2. Pre-screen submissions and make decisions on whether they should be rejected or accepted for processing;
  3. Provide suggestions in specific cases (e.g., comment on submissions with two or more different review opinions; respond to requests or questions from the external experts);
  4. Promote Microorganisms at conferences that you attend or organize (materials, like flyers or business cards, can be designed and shipped to your office; conference attendees would enjoy special discounts).

Microorganisms (ISSN 2076-2607) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms, viruses and prions. It publishes reviews, research papers and communications. The current Impact Factor is 4.152. The journal ranks 37/135 (Q2) in the category ' Microbiology '. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.
