Stats Announces Search for Its Next Editor-in-Chief

The editorial board of Stats has played an important role in shaping the field covered by this journal since its founding. Thanks to our founding Editor-in-Chief, Professor Gauss Moutinho Cordeiro, and our editorial members, Stats has made a great progress in the past three years. Professor Cordeiro will be stepping down in late 2020, after three years as Stats’s founding Editor-in-Chief. Stats is therefore seeking a new Editor-in-Chief to lead our journal to the next stage.

Stats is focused on publishing high-quality papers in statistics, probability, and stochastic processes in addition to innovative applications of statistics in all scientific disciplines. Stats strives to attract good contributors to display their works in this open access forum. With the progress that Stats has made over the past three years, the incoming Editor-in-Chief will have a strong foundation upon which to ensure further development and progress through the conduct of research in statistic sciences.
