His research interests include epidemiology of prematurity, quality of care, neurodevelopmental outcome, and neonatal abstinence syndrome. He is an expert in clinical and epidemiological research design and advanced statistical modelling. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals.

The “Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine” section will cover all topics relevant to the underlying science and practices of perinatal, fetal, and neonatal medicine, including high-risk pregnancy, assisted pregnancy, fetal care, perinatal care, delivery, prematurity and its complications, resuscitations, neonatal intensive care and high dependency, neonatal and neurosensory follow-up, outcome and assessment, and fetal and neonatal invasive procedures and interventions.

We warmly welcome Prof. Mariano Cingolani and Prof. Abdel-Latif Mohamed as the Editors-in-Chief of the “Forensic Medicine” and “Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine” sections. We look forward to Healthcare achieving many milestones under their leadership.
