Minerals (ISSN 2075-163X; CODEN: MBSIBI) is an international open access journal published monthly online by MDPI that covers the broad field of mineralogy, economic mineral resources, mineral exploration, innovative mining techniques and advances in mineral processing. It publishes reviews, regular research papers and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

Minerals publishes reviews, regular research papers, communications, and short notes relevant to any field of study that involves minerals, with respect to their science and application. As the Topic Editor, the main responsibilities are as follows:

1. Periodically leading Special Issues related to your research field;
2. Suggesting new topics, and recommending or inviting other scholars to serve as Guest Editors;
3. Supervising the editorial process, for example, pre-screening submissions and making final decisions on papers;
4. Reviewing manuscripts related to your research interests;
5. Promoting Minerals at conferences that you attend or organize.
