Dr. Alejandro F. Villaverde Appointed the Associate Section Editor-in-Chief of “Biology and Symmetry” Section in Symmetry
We are proud to announce that Dr. Alejandro F. Villaverde has been appointed as the Section Editor-in-Chief of “Biology and Symmetry” Section in Symmetry.

Dr. Villaverde is a researcher in bioprocess and biosystems engineering. His research is centered in the modeling of dynamical systems, with a focus on biological applications. He develops methodologies for identification and analysis of nonlinear models, using techniques from optimization and systems and control theory. Predominantly, he provides computational implementations of the methods that he develops.
