Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Venereology


Venereology is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal covering all aspects of venereal diseases, including epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, and treatment. It publishes original research papers, case reports, and systematic reviews on both general research and clinical practices. The website of Venereology can be accessed here.

Venereology is recruiting Editorial Board Members (EBMs) with research interests in the following areas:

  • Fungal STDs;
  • Bacterial STDs;
  • Viral STDs;
  • Parasitic STDs;
  • Acquired immune deficiency syndromes;
  • Pathophysiology of STDs;
  • Epidemiology of STDs;
  • Prevention, diagnosis, and management of STDs;
  • STDs and cancers;
  • Venereology and dermatology.

The main responsibilities of the Editorial Board Members (EBMs) are as follows:

  • Pre-screening submissions and making decisions on whether a manuscript should be accepted or rejected for processing, as well as suggesting additional reviewers (if necessary);
  • Acting as Guest Editor of a Special Issue in your particular field of expertise, or recommending potential topics and Guest Editors;
  • Promoting Venereology and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences;
  • Advising on the journal’s development.
