The following is a message from Dr. Rahman Shiri:

I am taking the role of Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare with great excitement. Healthcare is a popular fast-growing journal that publishes peer-reviewed scientific articles relevant to healthcare improvement. As an open access journal, Healthcare promotes free access to scientific information for all. Globally, the number of open access publications has been increasing markedly and many conventional journals have also been moving from a subscription-based to an open access publishing model. The number of article submissions to Healthcare and, subsequently, the number of rigorous peer reviews will grow further. I am part of a dedicated and committed editorial team and look forward to working with our Section Editors-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Academic Editors, Managing Editors, Assistant Editors, and the reviewers, to ensure a timely review of the manuscripts, methodological rigour of the publications and to take Healthcare to a higher level.

We warmly welcome Dr. Rahman Shiri in his role as our Editor-in-Chief, and we look forward to him leading Healthcare to achieve more milestones.
