Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Three Sections in Microorganisms

Microorganisms (ISSN: 2076-2607) is recruiting Editorial Board Members for the following sections:

The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are:

  • Recommending topics for Special Issues or helping to edit a Special Issue on a topic related to your research;
  • Prescreening submissions and making decisions on whether they should be rejected or accepted for processing;
  • Providing suggestions in specific cases (e.g., commenting on submissions where the reviewers have expressed two or more conflicting opinions; responding to requests or questions from external experts);
  • Promoting Microorganisms at conferences that you attend or organize (materials, such as flyers or business cards, can be designed and shipped to your office; conference attendees would enjoy special discounts).

Microorganisms (ISSN 2076-2607) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms, viruses and prions. It publishes reviews, research papers and communications. The current Impact Factor is 4.128. The journal ranks 52/137 (Q2) in the  “Microbiology” category. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.
