Laws (ISSN 2075-471X) is an international, peer-reviewed, quick-refereeing, scholarly, open access journal (free for readers), which publishes works from extensive fields including legal systems, legal theory, legal institutions, covering a broad range of legal subjects. To guarantee a rapid refereeing and editorial process, Laws follows standard publication practices in the natural sciences. A first decision is provided to authors approximately 19.8 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 5.6 days.

Laws is a journal featuring rigorous scholarship on critical developments in governance, courts, agencies, and social order. Analysis and synthesis, theory and practice, and empirical and doctrinal work have appeared in the journal; contributions that bridge these traditional boundaries are particularly welcome.
