It is a pleasure to announce “The First International Conference on Antioxidants: Sources, Methods, Health Benefits and Industrial Applications”, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 10 to 12 May 2023. The conference is chaired by Prof. Dr. Alessandra Napolitano and Prof. Dr. Rosa M. Lamuela Raventos, and is organized by MDPI as well as the open access journal Antioxidants (ISSN: 2076-3921).

This event will bring together leading researchers from around the world and across the field of antioxidants, from health to food to innovative materials, to share the results of their recent studies. Over the course of the three days, internationally renowned speakers will share their current research on the health outcomes of antioxidants and oxidative stress; antioxidant enzyme systems; natural antioxidants: sources, analyses, and mechanisms of action; and natural antioxidants: sustainable methodologies for recovery and processing.

Participants will have the opportunity to give short talks, present posters on their work, and engage in stimulating discussions. Please submit your abstract before 19 December 2022. More detailed information and other important deadlines can be found in the Instructions for Authors.

In addition, an award of EUR 500 will be given to the best oral presentation, and an award of EUR 300 will be given to the best poster. Meeting attendees will also have the opportunity to publish their work in a Special Issue of Antioxidants based on the conference.
