Nanoenergy Advances | Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. Zhong Lin Wang Inducted as National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellow in 2022

On the 8th of December, the National Academy of Inventors announced the Fellows Class of 2022.

The new class comprises 169 prolific academic innovators from over 110 research universities and research institutes worldwide. Our Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. Zhong Lin Wang was named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), the highest honor for an inventor who produces commercial impacts through research. Prof. Dr. Zhong Lin Wang's discovery and breakthroughs in developing nanogenerators established the principle and technological roadmap for harvesting mechanical energy from the environment and biological systems for powering mobile sensors. His work also pioneered the field of self-powered sensors, and he coined piezotronics and piezo-phototronics for third-generation semiconductors.

The Nanoenergy Advances Office sincerely congratulates Prof. Dr. Zhong Lin Wang and hopes that he continues to have an academically productive relationship with the journal.
