Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction Receives Its First CiteScore of 8.5

We are pleased to inform you that Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction (MAKE, ISSN: 2504-4990) has been assigned its first CiteScore of 8.5 for June 2023, after its inclusion in Scopus (Elsevier) in 2022.

The CiteScore ranks Q1 among the following two categories:

  • 14/151, Q1 in the “Engineering” category;
  • 63/301, Q1 in the “Artificial Intelligence” category.

CiteScore is now a standard citation metric alongside SNIP and SJR that gives an up-to-date view of a journal’s impact. CiteScore metrics for 2023 are calculated by dividing the total number of citations of peer-reviewed articles in a journal from 2019 to 2022 by the total number of peer-reviewed articles published in the journal over the same period.
