On 13 July 2023, MDPI and the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383) organized the webinar titled Geriatric Surgery: State of the Art.
The webinar provided a comprehensive overview of the current advancements and best practices in the field of geriatric surgery. The webinar was designed to address the unique challenges and considerations involved in surgical interventions for older adults, who are often faced with complex medical conditions and age-related physiological changes, including frailty and futility. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how to implement evidence-based practices to improve outcomes in this vulnerable patient population.
