World Electric Vehicle Journal Receives Its First Impact Factor of 2.3 and an Increased CiteScore of 3.7

We are pleased to share the news that World Electric Vehicle Journal (WEVJ, ISSN: 2032-6653) has received its first Impact Factor of 2.3 in the Journal Citation Reports™ (Clarivate) in June 2023. The 2022 Journal Impact Factor is calculated by dividing the number of citations of publications in a journal in the Web of Science records in 2022 by the number of citable publications published in the journal in 2020 and 2021.

The CiteScore of WEVJ for 2022 in Scopus has increased from 2.9 to 3.7, ranking Q2 in the “Automotive Engineering” category. The 2022 CiteScore™ was released recently, assessing the scientific influence of journals in the 2019 to 2022 period. WEVJ received its first CiteScore (2018) of 0.1 in 2019, with subsequent increases to 0.8 in 2019, 2.2 in 2020 (175% increase), 2.9 in 2021 (32% increase), and 3.7 in 2022 (27% increase). It achieved five consecutive years of growth.
