Journal of Clinical Medicine | World Hepatitis Day in 2023—“We’re not waiting”

World Hepatitis Day (WHD), held on 28 July every year, aims to raise global awareness of hepatitis—a group of infectious diseases known as hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E—and encourage prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, where we bring the world together under a single theme to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change. In 2023, the theme is “We’re not waiting”, and we call on people around the world to take action because hepatitis can’t wait.

To further explore the related research on the World Hepatitis Day 2023, Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383) has gathered open access academic research on the topic of hepatitis. We hope to share new scientific knowledge in the field of hepatitis with the world on this special day.
