MDPI Books is currently inviting original book proposals in a wide range of subjects areas, including social sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, and more. Our scope is broad, encompassing the sciences (STEM), humanities, and social sciences. We welcome submissions in the form of edited books, monographs, textbooks, project reports, and series from authors and editors worldwide.

Our catalog already features 8,200 reprints and 48 open access books, with 27% of our open access titles indexed in the Web of Science Book Citation Index and even more under review.

Help with Funding

Worried about securing funding? Don’t be.

MDPI Books takes part in Knowledge Unlatched's crowdfunding program, which empowers book authors to secure library funding for publishing their open access works. This process is overseen by MDPI Books. We would be delighted to evaluate your book for inclusion in the next pledging round.

If your institution or university is unable to provide funding for your book publication, your project may be eligible for a waiver. Please let us know when submitting your proposal if you would like to be considered for our waiver program.
