Fresh air is beneficial to human health, but air pollution harms human health and well-being, reduces quality of life, and can negatively impact economies. The combined effects of ambient (outdoor) and household air pollution cause millions of premature deaths every year, many of which are the result of an increased mortality from stroke, heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, and acute respiratory infections.
In expanding our offerings in the field of air, MDPI will be launching a broad-interest and high-quality journal, Air, an open access journal that seeks full research articles in all areas of air science, air technology, and air management and governance. Air will also act as a medium for the exchange of ideas and thoughts regarding the impacts of air research.
As an Editorial Board Member, you would have the unique opportunity to help build the Air community by identifying and introducing suitable collaborators. You would direct the focus of research topics to facilitate the publication of key findings and historical advances in hot research areas. Furthermore, you would have an excellent platform through which you can gain insights into the latest developments in this multidisciplinary field of study. Finally, you would have the privilege of publishing one paper per year completely free of charge after peer review.
