Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

As respiratory support for preterm infants is one of the key determinants of neonatal and childhood outcomes, and as we continue to push limits of viability, there have been ongoing efforts to optimize respiratory support for these infants. These efforts include technological advancements to develop novel ventilator and monitoring technologies and the re-evaluation and refinement of already-established respiratory support strategies. In these exciting times of constant change, this Special Issue will examine the latest research to help us to understand current evidence and controversies, as well as provide evidence-based guidance to improve the respiratory management of this vulnerable population.

We invite you to contribute articles on all aspects of respiratory support for preterm neonates. Original research, reviews, commentaries, and opinion papers will be considered for publication.
