Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

 In this Special Issue, research articles and reviews on the topics listed below are welcome:

  • Ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and dielectric crystals and ceramics;
  • Understanding the correlation between structure and properties;
  • The characterization of various piezoelectric parameters, in particular, high-power piezoelectric properties;
  • The material processing design of lead-free and lead-based piezoelectric ceramics and crystals.

This Special Issue aims to focus on understanding the correlation between structure and property in these materials, as well as the characterization of various piezoelectric parameters. Additionally, the cutting-edge processing design of ceramics and crystals, with a specific emphasis on high-power piezoelectric properties, piezoelectric energy harvesting, and energy storage materials, are the main themes. The main goal of this Special Issue is to assemble a comprehensive collection of research papers that delve into the latest developments in the fields of ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and dielectric ceramics and crystals.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Crystals is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
