Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Econometrics


Econometrics
(ISSN: 2225-1146; Impact Factor: 1.5) is currently recruiting experienced scholars from around the world to join their Editorial Board. You can find out more about Econometrics by visiting the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/econometrics.

Econometrics is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on econometric modeling and forecasting, as well as new advances in econometrics theory, and is published quarterly online by MDPI. Econometrics is indexed within Scopus, ESCI (Web of Science), EconLit, EconBiz, RePEc, and other databases. The intention is to further develop Econometrics as a quality journal under the full control of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members. The aim is to further expand the Impact Factor and make Econometrics a quality open access journal.

As an Editorial Board Member, your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on manuscripts related to their research interests;
  • Setting up a Special Issue on a topic related to their research interests when convenient for them;
  • Promoting the journal and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences;
  • Attending Editorial Board meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
  • Reviewing manuscripts.

The benefits of becoming an Editorial Board Member include the following:

  • The ability to publish one paper in Econometrics for free each year;
  • A certificate recognizing you as an Editorial Board Member of Econometrics;
  • Econometrics may provide funding for conferences that you arrange, as well as travel funds to visit related conferences;
  • A chance to work with prominent peers and build relationships within the econometrics community.

The application criteria for becoming an Editorial Board Member include the following:

  • Having a Ph.D. in economics;
  • Having knowledge and experience in editing international journals;
  • Having a certain number of research results with academic influence published in related fields.
